  1. These Terms and Conditions govern the Competition. All other information provided prior to entering the Competition, including any instructions on how to enter the Competition, form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions is invalid.

How to Enter

  3. b) Contact details must be completed including the State in which prize will be redeemed be nominated.

  1. Multiple entries from the same IP address, same email address (unless The Entrant is a Patron) or from automated competition entry services are invalid.
Who can Enter
  1. Entry is open to anyone who is eighteen years (18) or older and a resident of Australia who is able to attend one of the shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
  3. The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that his or her Entry will not be obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or violate any law.
  4. The Entrant confirms and warrants that they have full power and authority to enter into this agreement and hereby indemnifies the Promoter from and against any and all costs and damages incurred as a result of any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  5. The Entrant consents to the use of his or her Entry (first name and answer) for future promotional, marketing and publicity in various forms including on our website, newsletter or social media and/or aired on Australian True Crime Podcast, after the Competition Period has ended.
How to Win
  1. The Competition commences at 4:00AM AEST on Thursday 28 February 2019 and closes at 9am AEST on Monday 11 March 2019 (the “Competition Period”). Final Entries must be submitted before Monday 11 March 2019. During the Competition Period, there will be two winners selected for each state, (VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, WA), and an additional one winner from each state exclusively for Patreon members.
  2. Winners will be selected by The Promoter, at their discretion, will select the best answer/s based upon originality, creativity, and adherence to any specified word limit, and will be notified by email. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every entrant. No correspondence will be entered into. Entrants who are not winners will not receive any notification. The Winners shall be announced via Facebook, Instagram and Patreon, as well as a direct contact via the email address submitted in the questionnaire.
  3. The 2 x major winners from each state, and 1 x Patreon member winners from each state will receive the following, each:
    • Double Pass (2 tickets) to the Inside Making a Murderer & The Staircase, in the state as chosen in their questionnaire submission.
    • Individual tickets are valued at up to $105.15 each or lower.
  1. The Prize must be taken as stated and is not transferable or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  2. Only the winner(s) will be notified by email and must respond within 48 hours or the prize may be re-allocated.
  3. For winners to redeem their prize, tickets will be placed at the according box offices of each event, under the name as confirmed by the recipient upon notification of winning.
